Adeboye to impart graduating students as Redeemer’s University graduates 448 at 12th convocation

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enuch Adeboye, will minister to 448 graduating students during its maiden virtual convocation scheduled for 10 November.

Daily Sun gathered that Adeboye, who is the visitor to the university, will hold a special impartation service with undergraduate and postgraduate students on Sunday, November 8, when the convocation activities will commence.

The three-day programme will be broadcast through the state-of-the-art media technology backed and powered by the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 192 countries where its parishes are located.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Anthony Akinlo, said that the 448 students would be awarded degrees.

Akinlo added that the set which is christened: “Daniel Generation,” had been raised as global leaders and change agents imbued with God-fearing attributes.

The VC added that they were specially commissioned to set standards through a continuous commitment to excellence geared towards a transformative impact on the society.

The theme of the convocation lecture is: “Entrepreneurship, Agriculture and Youth,” and will be delivered by the Chairman, First Bank Plc, Mrs Ibukun Awosika, a renowned motivational speaker and management thought leader.
