The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Monday paid a condolence visit to the family of his late friend, Dr. Uma Ukpai.
Adeboye, who is fondly called Daddy GO by admirers, disclosed this in a statement shared on Facebook.
Ukpai died aged 80 on October 6.
Adeboye commiserated with the widow of the deceased, Pastor Philomena Ukpai and the entire family over his passing.
He noted that the celebrated evangelist has not “died, he has only changed address, moving from the field of battle to the presence of his Commander-in-Chief”.
The statement reads, “Earlier today, I paid a condolence visit to the residence of my dear friend and brother, Reverend Umai Ukpai, who has gone to be with the Lord.
