Four months after their lavish traditional marriage at the grand ballroom of Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos, oil trader and Chairman, Plus Petroleum, Chukwuemeka Nwapa last weekend walked his partner, Nonye Ukoh down the aisle in a classy destination wedding ceremony that took place in Rome, Italy.
The spectacular ceremony which included an exchange of vows both in a church cathedral and an outdoor arrangement, saw the groom’s mother accompanying him as he walked the aisle to take his place and await his bride. It was a two-magical day in Rome where love, luxury, and timeless beauty came alive. Nonye and Chuck’s wedding wasn’t just a celebration —it was royalty redefined. The groom, Chuks, is a nephew of Zenith Bank boss, Adaora Umeji. His father is Ogbuagu Ernest Nwapa, the pioneer executive secretary at the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board. The bride, Nonye is the daughter of Dr. Michelle Ukoh and Mazi Chukwu Francis Ukoh, a former Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party.
