Newly appointed acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Tunji Disu, has arrived at the State House, Presidential Villa, ahead of his formal swearing-in ceremony.
Disu, a former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, was named acting IGP by President Bola Tinubu on Monday, following the retirement of IGP Kayode Egbetokun.

His appointment marks a significant leadership transition at the Nigeria Police Force amid ongoing efforts to enhance national security.
The development was confirmed by Special Adviser on Social Media to the President Bola Tinubu, via a post on X (formerly Twitter), Daniel Oluwasegun (@Dolusegun16).
