… Expands from Crèche to College
King’s Care Universal School in Lugbe, Abuja, has expanded its operations since it was established in 2014, offering education from crèche level to college.
The school was founded by Dr Victor Makanjuola Ayeye and his wife, Mrs Olubunmi Damilola Ayeye. Members of the Ayeye family remain involved in the administration of the institution.
According to information provided by the school, the institution’s programmes cover academic and extracurricular activities, with pupils and students participating in mathematics and English competitions, science quizzes, spelling bees, debates and cultural activities.
The school also offers the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), National Examinations Council (NECO), Cambridge and ERC curricula.
Its facilities include an ICT laboratory, swimming pool, music studio, art gallery, sports arena and CCTV surveillance.
Speaking on the institution’s development, Ayeye said the school’s objective was to provide students with academic and character-based education.
“Our goal has always been to raise scholars who are intellectually sound, morally upright and globally competitive,” he said.
Ayeye, who is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of Birmingham.
The school said it has educated more than 1,000 students since its establishment.
Ayeye said the institution would continue to focus on improving its educational programmes.
“We believe every child deserves access to quality education in an environment that encourages excellence, creativity and leadership,” he said.
