The management of Prime Care Hospitals has rejected social media reports that popular content creator Mukoro Mitchelle, often known as King Mitchy, died at the institution in Abuja.

The hospital’s statement comes after claims made by King Mitchy’s management that she died after being brought to the hospital following the suspected intake of a dangerous chemical.

In an official disclaimer put on its Instagram page on Saturday morning, the hospital management denied the rumours, claiming that King Mitchy was never admitted to the facility, let alone died there.

“The management of Prime Care Hospitals wishes to inform the public that the announcement of the alleged death of Miss Mukoro Mitchelle, popularly known as King Mitchy, at our facility in Abuja is FALSE. King Mitchy was never a patient in our hospital and did not pass away here,” the statement read.

The hospital further disclosed that it is taking active steps to address the spread of the “misinformation.”

“We are working with authorities to investigate the source of this misinformation and will take all necessary legal actions against those responsible. Please verify information through our official channels before sharing,” the management added.

The controversy began about nine hours earlier when King Mitchy’s management reportedly announced her passing via her official Instagram page, featuring a video in which she reportedly consumed a bleach agent during a TikTok live stream.

The post claimed that medical efforts were made to save her life in Prime Hospital Abuja, saying, “We are deeply heartbroken to share that our beloved Michelle has passed on.

“Despite all efforts from the medical team here in Abuja, we were told her condition was critical, and sadly, she could not be revived. Rest in peace, Micthelle. You will never be forgotten.

“If you know prime hospital in abuja help us beg them to do something to save her. Her mother has fainted in Lagos already and has been taken to a hospital,” they added.

The content creator’s fans and followers have expressed confusion and concern as a result of the inconsistent claims.

As of the time of filing this report, King Mitchy’s death has not been independently confirmed by family members or governmental authorities.
