Political leaders, captains of industry, business executives, traditional rulers, entrepreneurs and other distinguished personalities from across Africa are expected to converge on Abuja on August 22, 2026, as VGlamour Magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary and hosts the Nigeria Most Influential Awards.
The event, themed “Celebrating 10 Years of Influence and Impact,” will honour individuals and institutions whose leadership, innovation, philanthropy, professionalism and commitment to national development have made significant contributions to society.
VGlamour Magazine said it has, over the past decade, established itself as a lifestyle and leadership publication dedicated to profiling inspiring personalities, promoting positive narratives and recognising excellence across different sectors.
The Nigeria Most Influential Awards, one of the publication’s flagship initiatives, has over the years recognised governors, ministers, lawmakers, diplomats, traditional rulers, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, professionals and humanitarian figures for their contributions to national development and public service.
Speaking ahead of the event, the Publisher of VGlamour Magazine and Convener of the Nigeria Most Influential Awards, Amb. Vivian Lam, described the anniversary as a celebration of the organisation’s journey and the achievements of the award recipients.
“Ten years ago, we embarked on a journey to celebrate excellence, inspire leadership and promote individuals whose contributions continue to transform Nigeria and beyond.
“Today, we proudly celebrate a decade of influence, integrity and national impact. This milestone is not just about our achievements but about the extraordinary Nigerians whose stories continue to inspire generations,” she said.
The organisers said the programme will feature award presentations, keynote addresses, special recognitions, musical performances, cultural displays, comedy and the unveiling of the VGlamour Magazine 10th Anniversary Special Edition, which will spotlight notable personalities and organisations.
They added that the anniversary celebration is expected to highlight the importance of leadership, innovation, excellence and national development while encouraging the next generation of leaders.
VGlamour Magazine also called on government institutions, corporate organisations, industry stakeholders and members of the public to participate in the celebration of its decade-long contributions to recognising excellence and leadership.
