Dr. Doyinsola Abiola, one of the wives of the winner of the historic June 12, 1993 Presidential Election, Bashorun Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, has lamented that associates and friends of the martyr of Nigeria’s democracy deserted the family.
She spoke during a lecture organised by Lagos State Government to mark the Jubilee Anniversary of the election that has become watershed in Nigeria’s political history.
