The Abia governorship candidate of National Rescue Movement (NRM), Dr. Kalu Ijioma Ukeh has picked Nnamdi Eze Ireaja, an Engineer, as his running mate.
Confirming Ireaja’s nomination, Ijioma said this has shown the preparedness of the party to contest next year’s election, win and serve Abians for good come 2023.
Speaking on the choice of Eze,
Ukeh said he decided to pick someone who understands the problem of the state and the country at large, whose experience in various sphere of life is overwhelming.
“One who is ready to join hands with me to rescue Abia from the clutches of backwardness, is befitting to be my deputy.
“Ireaja is a man of undaunted good quality personality and will help to bring the needed impetus to bear on the development of the state if we are elected by Abians”.
Ukeh expressed optimism that his party will win the Abia governorship election in 2023 and turn the state around for good
