As the local government election in Abia State slated for November 2nd draws closer,
Labour Party stalwart in Abia State Hon.Chief Iheanyichukwu Ugochukwu,popularly known as Hon. Prince Ugo, has called for free and fair election devoid of rancour and bad blood.
In a statement, the Uzuakoli Bende LGA-Abia State born politician said only a peaceful poll would ensure rapid development of rural areas.
While commending Governor Alex Otti for his development projects, especially in the areas of road construction, Hon Chief Ugochukwu once again task the governor on the terrible condition of Uzuakoli erosion menace which is ravenously eating up the community.
In the same breath, Hon. Ugochukwu calls on political stakeholders in Bende LGA & Abia at large to unite against any form of violence that could undermine the November 2nd election, adding that a peaceful poll in the state would be win-win for all in Abia State
He further call on Chief Iheanyi Frank Chilasa (Agu Bende)the Bende LP leader and the stakeholders to put eye on ground to chose a credible person who will represent LP in the local government raise, whereby if God willing he win he can bring Bende to a limelight
