Abia governorship candidates for the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah, and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr. Alex Otti, have promised state indigenes resident in Onitsha and other parts of Anambra to run all inclusive government if elected in March 2 election.

The governorship candidates gave the assurance at Onitsha Recreation Club hall, Housing Estate, Fegge, while addressing Abia Indigenes Forum, led by Damian Ogudike, who asked to know the candidates and their manifestos.

The governorship  candidate of APC, Ogah, represented by his deputy, Martins O. Azubuike, said he would introduce free, compulsory public education in both primary and post primary schools, review the school curriculum and pay salaries of teachers when due.

“We will use technology to fight crime and invest in technological equipment, so that Abians will sleep with their eyes closed. Security trust fund will be established, Israeli technology will be employed,” he said.

Also, in his remarks, Dr. Otti, represented by his Special Assistant, Chief Berth Okeomah, said his government would deal with miracle centres and hand over schools to the missionaries, like it was done in Anambra State by former governor of the state, Peter Obi.
