The governorship candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC), in Abia State, Bishop Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, has flagged off his campaign for the 2023 election, with security and employment topping his priority list.
Onuoha unveiled his agenda at Ibeku High school, Umuahia, during the official kick off of his campaign, assuring that every part of the State would enjoy maximum security, if elected as governor.
He expressed his determination to defeat the monster of unemployment bedeviling the state, adding that his experience in the field of job creation and human capital management ranked him above other contestants.
He urged the people to vote for him and other ADC candidates to restore Abia to its deserved position, promising to pay pensioners in the state regularly as well as create an office in government House, Umuahia, where welfare of retirees would be adequately attended to.
Speaking while presenting party flag to the candidates, the National Vice Chairman of ADC on INEC matters, Chief Anayo Arinze, said Abia was blessed to have Bishop Onuoha in the race.
