Abaji monarch praises Tinubu, Wike’s FCT development, calls minister true ambassador

Ona of Abaji, Baba Ugbada, has praised President Bola Tinubu’s development efforts in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) through the Minister, Nyesom Wike, described the minister as a true ambassador of the President.

The monarch, who also chairs the FCT Royal Chiefs, made the remarks during a courtesy visit from members of the FCT Renewed Hope Ambassadors led by Adamu Abdullahi on Thursday.

The visit was aimed to introduce the ambassadors to traditional rulers, strengthen ties, and gain their support for President Tinubu’s administration, while also seeking their blessings and guidance.
Ona of Abaji, representing Abaji Area Council in the FCT, praised the Minister for his development efforts, especially in the satellite towns, and called for increased infrastructure and educational initiatives to uplift the community.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors also visited Gwargwada, Rubochi, Yaba, Wako, Pai, and Zuba chiefdoms.

The Chief of Pai, in Kwali Area Council, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Pai, commended the administration for the extensive road network, which he said has made it easier for farmers to bring their produce to the capital.

Also, the Agora of Zuba, Muhammad Umar, expressed confidence in the ambassadors’ ability to serve the FCT and pledged continued support for the progress and unity of the territory.

Speaking during the visits, the FCT Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Adamu Abdullahi, assured the traditional rulers that their pleas would be documented and presented to President Tinubu, saying the President is committed to listening to the people.
