Ajimisan Gift Ebunoluwa, professionally known as “GIF3RD,” is a singer, songwriter, and performer making his mark in the Afrobeats genre. Hailing from Ilaje Local Government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria, GIF3RD was born and raised in Warri, Delta State, where his early experiences helped shape his musical journey.
GIF3RD’s music career took off in Cape Town, where he became a regular in the local nightlife scene, performing at nightclubs and honing his craft. On October 26, 2023, he released his debut single, “LOW WAIST,” which signaled the beginning of a promising career. Building on this success, he established his own record label, Beat Killer Records Music, and released his second single, “3SOME.” The track received extensive airplay on radio and TV stations across South Africa and Nigeria, solidifying GIF3RD’s reputation as a rising talent in the Afrobeats scene.
His debut EP, “NO DOUBT,” released on June 16, 2024, showcases his unique sound, which is deeply influenced by his personal experiences and the music of reggae and Afrobeats legends such as Bob Marley, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
