Founder of Solid Rock Kingdom Church in Akwa Ibom state Apostle Dr John Okoriko has said that the body of Christ was enlarged to accommodate the world during his resurrection and warned religious extremists to stop discrimination against women describing them as integral part in the body of Christ.
Okoriko stated that the first redemptive prophecy in the scripture as recorded in Gen 3:15 was about a woman and warned church founders to carry women along in spreading the gospel to all nations.
” We are living in the age of confusion about the word of God .
” I have many friends who love me but refuse to love my expository teachings. Some of them don’t allow women to have a say in their churches . They silence women in affairs of their churches ”
Speaking in Uyo Akwa Ibom state capital during the 2025 annual convention of the church on the theme “The Temple of His Body” Okoriko stated that God has a temple and has his body that can accommodate everybody on earth.
Okoriko who is known for his expository and revolutionary gospel about the oneness of God insisted that many churches do not know that God who is omnipotent , Omniscience and Omnipresent has a body .
” This is what we call in my church as ‘O4’ to add the missing link of the body of Christ which is not known by other churches” .
Okoriko explained that when Jesus said “destroy this temple , I will build it in 3 days , he was asking the Jews to kill him who later killed him , buried in the grave for 3 days adding history has it that he resurrected after 3 days to the amazement of all .
He recalled that when Jesus resurrected, the first person that ran to hug him was a woman and chided churches who refused to give women opportunities in their church.
Okoriko further explained that in the former temple which Solomon built in Israel , there was no provision to accommodate Gentile nations adding that in the temple of Christ’s body the gentiles are accommodated
” In the Solomon’s temple, we were not allowed to enter . Even those who were admitted in the that temple were subjected to all kinds of manipulations .
” But in the temple of Christ’s body, we are not tossed and can not be threatened by anybody.
” Jesus created a temple large enough to accommodate the world including women ”
Okoriko said rapture is a false doctrine as haven always come down to man not man going to heaven .
Rapture is a false doctrine . Heaven always come down to man . This was the pattern from the beginning.
