The Zonal leadership of All Progressives Congress (APC) North West under Hon. Garba Muhammad Datti has congratulated the duo of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State and Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State over their victory at the Court of Appeal in Abuja respectively.

Datti believed that by affirming Senator Uba Sani as the duly elected Governor of Kaduna State and dismissing the issues brought by the appellant, it proved that the opposition is only on the legal face up with the APC government only to retain it’s members by giving them false hope.

In a statement on Sunday by the
APC Zonal Publicity Secretary (North West), Malam Musa Mailafiya Mada said, “The judgement is a triumph for the wish of the good people of Kaduna state who freely handed their mandate to Senator Uba Sani to occupy Sir Kashim Ibrahim house and for peace, unity and sustainable development to permeate.

“Garba Datti also urge Governor Sani to place partisan politics on the shelf and extend a hand of fellowship to the opposition to partner with them to make Kaduna State greater.

“The task ahead is daunting and the government needs to focus on delivering it’s campaign promises.

“In the same vein, Datti rejoice with Comrade Dr Muhammad Nasiru Idris who also has his election as the Governor of Kebbi State affirmed by the appeal court. The victories aren’t only for yourselves, but for our nascent democracy to thrive.

“Garba Muhammad Datti commend the resoluteness and tenacity of the judiciary for their unwaivering commitment to always remain on the side of Justice”.
