As a new video unveiled by CNN on Wednesday, showing 15 of 279 northern girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists in Chikok, Borno State, made the rounds, hashtag #BringBackOurGirls – which was a top trendier in 2014 – staged a comeback worldwide, with the Twitter figurative on fire.
Most Twitter users could not come to terms with the fact that two years after the kidnapping of the schoolgirls, they are yet to be rescued, although the two-minute new video clip has raised hope that they are alive.
