In an era where women are boldly redefining strength, rewriting success, and rising from survival to significance, the highly anticipated UpYouWomen Conference returns for its third edition with an even greater impact.
Slated for Friday, August 29, and Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Victoria Hall, EbonyLife Place, Victoria Island, Lagos, the conference comes under the powerful theme: “UNBOUND: Rising Beyond Limits.” It promises two full days of transformation, connection, and bold conversations designed to inspire women to rise, regardless of the odds stacked against them.
Now, a defining moment in the calendar of purpose-driven women, UpYouWomen Conference is not just an event. It is a movement. One that dares women to shed limitations, reject stereotypes, and confront the fears that have held them back for too long.
Convener, Ezinne Kufre-Ekanem, said the 2025 edition marks a historic transition from a one-day summit into a two-day immersive experience focused on personal growth, healing, vision, and bold action.
“This transition isn’t just about time,” she explains. “It’s about depth. It’s about honouring the process of unlearning, healing, and rising with intention. Women are ready. And this year, we’re giving them more space, more tools, and more truth.”
Each edition of the UpYouWomen Conference builds on a compelling legacy. The 2023 debut, “Building Bridges from Within,” laid the foundation for introspection and healing. In 2024, “Through the Fire: Triumphing in Adversity” sparked courage and resilience. Now, 2025’s ‘UNBOUND’ calls every woman who has ever questioned her worth, postponed her dreams, or dimmed her voice to step boldly into healing, authenticity, and divine alignment.
The conference features an exceptional faculty of thought leaders, creatives, coaches, and change-makers from across Nigeria, Ghana, and the USA.
Some of the headline speakers include: Mrs. Ronke “Posh” Adeniyi, parenting coach and educator; Mrs. Eden A. Onwuka, emotional intelligence strategist and author; Mrs. Ini Abimbola, governance expert and sustainability consultant; Dr. Akin Akinpelu, leadership strategist and organisational coach; Mrs. Eugenia Abu, journalist and author; Mr. Ifeanyi Oputa, creative entrepreneur and founder, Studio24; Fadekemi Olumide-Aluko, women’s rights advocate and development expert, and Dr. Unyime Ivy King, inner healing therapist and author, among others.
Also returning by popular demand are the FireChats—brave, unfiltered storytelling sessions with women who have walked through life’s fire and emerged refined. This year’s FireChat Circle, led by Dr. Tewa Onasanya includes Mrs. Mary B. Okon, Mrs Emonena Akwara, Solape Ogundimu (Flowergirl), Omolaide Omosebi, among others.
Beyond storytelling, the two-day event will feature interactive breakout sessions, wellness and healing lounges, mentorship corners, exhibition zones for female-owned brands and networking corridors for real-time collaboration.
Whether attending in person or virtually, participants can expect deep transformation, practical tools, spiritual renewal and the confidence to walk forward unbound by fear, shame, or societal pressure.
And this year, sponsors and partners are also being invited to invest in this mission. According to Kufre-Ekanem, “This conference offers brands a rare chance to engage a deeply committed and influential audience—women who are not just consumers but creators, nurturers, decision-makers, and nation builders. It’s not just visibility—it’s legacy.”
