“Our Association from inception has been the inspiration and pathway for the real estate profession and establishment in Nigeria. Our founding fathers had the true vision of correcting the decay and maladies confronting the real estate enterprise with our age-long symbol crafted in honesty,” he said. “However, our crisis and final unification have revealed the faces of the true lovers of ERCAAN and also our enemies. Therefore, from a new beginning, we will start laying the lasting foundation to rebuild the Association.”

Earlier, in his opening remarks, the Chairman of the ERCAAN Caretaker Committee (ENCC), Mr. Lanre Obasola Afolayan, highlighted the Committee’s recent efforts to strengthen the Association’s structure. “ENCC successfully dissolved the Ogun State chapter’s executives and inaugurated a Caretaker Committee, creating a conducive environment for the upcoming state election,” he noted.

He further recounted recent engagements with other chapters, saying, “We visited the Ekiti State chapter to witness the successful election of Mr. Adeeko G. Oluwasanmi as state Chairman, followed by his swearing-in ceremony. We also responded to the invitation of the Ondo State chapter’s executives in Akure, accompanied by Mr. Sunday Ogundipe (Chairman BOT), Mr. Michael Adeogun (Founder), and Mr. Godwin Alenkhe (Elected National President). It was there that the decision to postpone our national election was made to allow for amicable settlements within the ERCAAN family.”

Afolayan emphasised the Committee’s role in uniting the Association, stating, “ENCC has been able to bring all the warring factions together, as evidenced by this gathering.”
