In the spirit of Ramadan celebration, the Abuja Continental Hotel has invited guests to enjoy its ‘Iftar’ experience, scheduled to last throughout the month of Ramadan.
The hotel promised to serve a lavish buffet, blending traditional Middle Eastern and Nigerian Halal delicacies in a celebration of culture, flavour, and spirituality.
According to the General Manager of Abuja Continental Hotel, Kevin Brett, guests will be treated to a wide array of dishes, including slow-roasted lamb, spiced rice, rich tagines, handmade samosas and others.
The buffet, he said, will also feature Arabic sweets, fresh dates, and saffron-infused treats, perfect for breaking the fast; while refreshing hibiscus and tamarind drinks will complement the meal and offer a burst of flavour.
Brett added that beyond the food, the Iftar experience at the hotel will also incorporate the essence of Ramadan because the hotel will provide a live streaming of events from Mecca, creating a deeper spiritual connection for the attendees.
He said that there will also be dedicated prayer areas for both men and women, as well as the enchanting scent of Hara-main Golden Oud to enhance the atmosphere.
“As we gather to begin this sacred journey of Ramadan, we offer a culinary experience crafted to nourish both body and soul. Our team is dedicated to providing a memorable Iftar experience, where tradition, flavour, and spirituality comes together. May this blessed month bring peace and reflection to all,” he said.
