The highly anticipated watch party for Mercy Aigbe’s latest movie, “Thin Line,” was a sold-out success in Ilorin.
Held on Friday, December 27, at Viva Cinema, the event attracted an impressive guest list that included the Kwara State Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Forestry, Nafisat Buge; Special Assistant to the Governor on Media, Olayinka Fafoluyi (Solace); Managing Director of Jibzit Properties Limited, Dr Azeez Adigun; Managing Director Xtra Plate Exquisite Eateries, Baba Kamo; and Managing Director of Kalty Catering Services.
The event was organized by TMJ and featured red-carpet activities, such as best-dressed contest, movie review, and an after-party, which added extra excitement to the evening. Many attendees dressed to impress and were eager to enjoy a fantastic night.
Opeyemi Ashipa, the mastermind behind the event, is an influencer, event expert, and lover of quality entertainment.
Reflecting on the watch party project, he remarked: “I knew I had to host a watch party for ‘Thin Line’ after I saw the trailer. Great entertainment and artistic movies like this deserve more recognition. I strongly believe in Mercy Aigbe’s successful brand and thriving image, which is why I decided to push for this event.”
Honourable Nafisat Buge described the movie as a work of art, stating, “It was indeed a beautiful watch. I learned many vital lessons from the film and encourage everyone who hasn’t seen it to do so.”
The watch party not only showcased Mercy Aigbe’s brilliance but also highlighted Ilorin’s growing appreciation for quality entertainment.
