Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, delivered a speech at the Symposium on the International Situation and China’s Foreign Relations.

Wang said in 2024, facing a critical juncture in history, China upheld fundamental principles while breaking new ground in diplomacy; and China responded to a fast-changing landscape with composure and confidence.

He also said the diplomatic efforts of China have helped foster a favorable external environment for China’s high-quality development and provided much-needed stability to a turbulent world.
