Founder of Nigeria Liberty Movement (NLM), a new political movement, Moses Adebisi, aka This Days Moses, has reiterated his commitment to continue to serve humanity, even in the face of unwarranted attacks on his family.

Adebisi stated this during a chat with newsmen in Abuja recently, when he visited the headquarters of Nigeria Liberty Movement, a political movement rooted in liberating Nigerians from poverty.

He said, “I am only rooted in service to humanity. It is not a sin to stand up for what is right in Nigeria. If this was a politically motivated attack, we would not stop to make the required changes for the country to move in the right direction.”

In June, his home in Okota, Lagos, was attacked and property worth millions of naira was destroyed. However, there was no casualty, even as the closed-circuit television video surveillance captured footage of the assailants.

In another turn of events on September 9, 2023, Dr. Treasure Adebisi, wife of Adebisi, narrowly escaped assassination by gunmen in Abuja. The harrowing incident, which occurred at approximately 9:00 PM on Saturday, September 9, 2023, sent shockwaves throughout the nation’s capital.

Eyewitnesses recounted a scene of chaos and terror as gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Dr. Treasure Adebisi’s residence in Abuja. The assailants, armed and masked, ambushed Dr. Adebisi as she returned home, firing multiple shots in her direction and leaving her critically wounded in a pool of blood.

However, she managed to evade further harm and was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention.

Dr. Adebisi’s book, titled, “Exposing the Absurdities in Nigeria’s System of Government,” has also brought about government litigation and arrest against him.

In April 2022, hoodlums, political thugs and miscreants reportedly attacked Adebisi’s parents’ country home in Gbongan, Osun State.

Sources said, in the early hours of April 20, 2022, a despicable act of violence unfolded in the serene town of Gbongan when miscreants descended on the home of Prophet Lawrence and Temitope Adebisi, the parents of Adebisi, also known as This Days Moses.

Another reliable source stated that the commotion started when assailants stormed the family’s residence under the cover of darkness, armed with weapons, and “the unsuspecting victims were rudely awakened from their slumber by the sound of shattering glass and the menacing shouts of their assailants.”

The attackers proceeded to unleash chaos and terror in the family home of Adebisi’s parents but the authorities were alerted and quickly moved in to restore order and save the victims from bodily harm.

Adebisi has charged the Nigerian Police Force to unravel the causes of the attacks and bring the perpetrators to book.
