HGEL, who started writing, singing and composing music from a young age, was born on February 26, in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. He completed his studies at the College of Business Administration (ECOBA), Benin, before pursuing a university degree in Medical Biochemistry and Genetics at Delta State University.
Besides his music pursuit, HGEL’s fans are also drawn to his humility and charismatic personality, which has also bolstered his philanthropic efforts through his NGO, a Foundation aimed at empowering the less-privileged.
