Edugist, a leading, impact-based media and innovation lab dedicated to driving change in Africa’s education sector has announced the relaunch of its new radio programme, “Education Dialogue.”
The programme “Education Dialogue” which airs every Thursday on Inspiration FM 92.3 FM, serves as a dynamic platform for amplifying critical discussions surrounding education in Nigeria.
The 30-minute episode will feature an expert guest, who delves into a key educational challenge, fostering awareness, advocating for reform, and proposing practical solutions.
In a statement signed by the Chief Executive Officer, Elvis Boniface, said education is the vehicle that drives achievements and development at personal and national levels. He added: “Our job at Edugist is to strengthen its wheels. Through the Education Dialogue, we will x-ray the most pressing issues within the Nigerian education system and collaboratively seek solutions bedeviling the development of the sector.
This programme will allow for a nuanced understanding of the challenges faced by students, educators, entrepreneurs and policymakers alike. By partnering with leading experts and stakeholders, the programme serves as avenue where practical, actionable ideas are discussed, debated and agreed upon.”
According to him, “the progranme will bring together a diverse range of voices to create a collaborative space for progress. From the country’s top think tanks and policymakers to educators on the ground and young innovators, the programme fosters dialogue between those with the power to enact change.
“Previous edition witnessed participation of the key sector leaders such as Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, former Ghanaian Minister of Education & current Minister of Energy, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, former Minister of Education, Nigeria, Folasade Adefisayo, former Commissioner of Education, Lagos State and Mike Feerick, founder/CEO, Alison. In the relaunch, the programme will pursue active cross pollination of ideas across the education value chain to drive towards a more equitable and high-quality education system for Nigerians and Africans,” he added.
