Former President of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Melvin Pinnick has explained his preference for a foreign coach for Super Eagles.
Speaking on Arise TV, Pinnick admitted that Nigerian coaches are technically sound but added that managing players has gone beyond that level.
He said“ Yes, the Nigerian coaches have the requisite knowledge and technical ability but modern football is beyond that in managing players.
“ Will the national team players respect the coach?
“ The sad thing is that they don’t”.
