Jolly Nnenna Abani, creator of the reality TV show ’40 and Fabulous’, has called on the government to support the program, highlighting its potential for empowering women and creating job opportunities.

“With over 400 million people, the government should be part of it,” Abani stated at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday. “I believe that if the government thinks correctly, they will see the value in sponsoring programs like this.”

Abani emphasized the show’s impact on women’s empowerment, stating that it empowers mothers, who are the ones raising the youth, the future of tomorrow. “When women come together, you don’t have to worry about their children, husbands, or contributions to the economy,” she added.

Executive Producer Kennedy Chukwuma Aja highlighted the show’s unique approach to empowerment, describing it as “adult education, a rebate for moms, women, and sisters.” He emphasized its family-friendly nature and commitment to avoiding nudity.

Aja also highlighted the show’s impact on employment, stating that each season employs over 35 people on set and behind the scenes, and teaches participants how to create wealth and businesses on their own.

The grand finale of ’40 and Fabulous’ is scheduled for May 4th at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, where the winner will receive 10 million naira and a brand-new car.
