Founder of Chopilos For All Foundation, Jerry Adibe put smiles on the faces of children at Alagbole/Akute area of Ogun State recently as part of the Children Day celebration.

 

The international hypeman cum singer spent his childhood in the community before he rose to stardom.

 

Popularly known as Jerry Shaffer, Adibe is the CEO of Slippery Entertainment and Chopilos Restaurant in Victoria Island, Lagos.

 

The Children’s Day fiesta featured distribution of food, clothing items and other gifts for the children.

 

The event held at Cele Bus stop at Alagbole attracted many children in the area, even as Jerry Shaffer alongside his crew and friends thrilled the children with different activities.

Speaking to journalists at the occasion, the celebrity hypeman said he founded Chopilos For All Foundation, a non-profit, non-governmental organisation to give back to society.

 

He said the organisation was floated to care for and support the needy and less privileged in society.

 

He said he is happy to give back and contribute his own quota to the development of his childhood community and added that celebrating Children’s Day with children in the area reminded him of his growing up in the area.

 

He said apart from celebrating Children’s Day, the foundation also has other programmes meant to give back to the society.

 

Adibe called on all influential and wealthy Nigerians to contribute their quota to charity and development of the society.
