Amber Residence has celebrated its 10th anniversary in the Nigerian hospitality industry with members of staff, executives, and customers.
The hotel which launched in 2012 and located in Ikeja GRA, Lagos, also rewarded members of staff with outstanding and longservice awards for their diligence, hardwork and dedication to the company.
Chairman of Amber Residence Mr. Chris Oshiafi said the anniversary is a testament to the resilient spirit and vision of the management and staff of the hotel.
“You and I know that for a business to start and gradually grow to what it is in this country for 10 years takes alot of work from the people driving the business. Most importantly, this also means we are fortunate with loyal customers and people that believe in the value we offer,” Oshafi said.
Vice chairman of Amber Residence Sina Alimi said it is delightful to be a part of the hotel’s existence for a decade and assured customers and clients that the quality of service will only get better.
The wife of Amber Residence chairman Mrs. Lola Oshiafi commended the management for rewarding and awarding staff that contributed to the growth of the hotel for 10 years.
Managing Director and CEO of Amber Hospitality Services Limited, Willie Kazhila, a recipient of the long service award, attributed the success of the hotel to the customers, clients, and employees especially those who have journeyed with the company from the very beginning.
“These are people that have contributed to the success of amber residents and the loyalty of our customers, our customers have been very loyal to us,” Kazhila said, adding that the company has been faced with many challenges but has been able to overcome them through its investment in people and acquired problem-solving skills to meet the demand of its customers.
Kazhila stated that the hotel prioritises capacity development for its staff who he said have grown to take up bigger responsibilities in heading hotels and companies.
He noted that the company’s ability to provide its customers and clients with a warm experience stands Amber Residence out over its competitors in the hospitality industry.
Kazhila disclosed that Amber Residence projects to expand outside Nigeria and establish an academy to bridge the skill gap by developing the capacity of people in the hospitality industry.
General manager, Amber Residence Ikeja GRA, Taiwo Asana, said the hotel is confident of consolidating the feat achieved with a team of professional, dedicated staff and loyal clients and customers.
