The Chairman of Obudu Local Government Council, Hon Dr Peter Undiandeye, has felicitated President Bola Tinubu, Governor Bassey Otu and Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th independence anniversary.
In a goodwill message, Undiandeye said the anniversary offers an opportunity to celebrate Nigeria’s journey, reflect on its progress and renew commitment to peace and unity.
He commended President Tinubu for his leadership and Governor Otu for his People First administration, particularly on infrastructure and grassroots development.

The chairman described the people of Obudu as resilient and industrious and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to infrastructure, agriculture, youth and women’s empowerment, and peacebuilding.
He urged Nigerians, especially the people of Obudu, to remain patriotic and united, adding that development requires collective effort.
