The official schedule for the highly anticipated 3×3 Basketball Olympic Games is now available. 3×3 will return for the second time to the Games for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games from 30 July to 5 August 2024.
The world’s top 3×3 players will compete across eight men’s and eight women’s teams during seven days of thrilling competition. Held at the iconic Place de la Concorde in the heart of Paris, 3×3 players will showcase their talents against a backdrop of some of Paris’ most iconic landmarks including the Grand Palais, Champs-Élysées, and The Louvre.
While COVID-19 restrictions prevented fans attending the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, spectators in Paris will be able to fully experience the excitement of 3×3 Basketball at the Games and play a central role in creating an unforgettable festival atmosphere.
All eight teams play each other in a single pool over the first three and a half days. On day four, a play-in will be introduced for teams that finish 3rd to 6th.
The top two teams advance directly to the Semi Finals, while teams placing 7th and 8th will be eliminated. The remaining six teams compete in the play-in, with the Semi Finals and medal games all taking place on the last day of competition, on 5 August.
