Osun State Government has disclosed plans to open the 1,000 Capacity Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Centre in Dagbolu, Osogbo.
The Sun reported that the facility was inaugurated by former governor Adegboyega Oyetola and has since been abandoned with part of the roof already blown off by the wind.
The centre was equipped with training tools for artisans, tailors, fashion designers, computer technicians, bricklayers, plumbers, barbers, and welders.
During his inspection of the renovation of the centre on Tuesday, the Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Bankole Omisore, disclosed that plans have been perfected to commence training at the centre by September.

“As you can see, we’ve started renovating the space fixing the roof, painting, and connecting it to a power source and generator.

We are also partnering with different organizations to make sure their members can use the place for training. Such as Nigerian Youth Council,” Omisore said.
