The family of Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has raised an alarm over the legendary singer’s “sudden disappearance”.

Speaking in a petition to the Department of State Services (DSS) dated February 7, the Idibia family claimed 2Baba had been missing since February 10.

They said the ‘African Queen’ crooner left his residence in his loungewear in what seemed to be a habitual walk but has not returned home since then.

The Idibia family called it strange that the famous artist left without his bodyguards and protocol, adding that several friends say they have received messages from his social media accounts asking for money.

According to the family, this has led to the possibility of them thinking that 2Baba has been abducted or his identity being used for nefarious purposes.

The family appealed to the DSS to take immediate action over the possibility of foul play.

The development comes on the heels of 2Baba’s proposal to Edo lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru as revealed in a recent social media video clip.
