26 global leaders recognised at Oxford book launch

The Saïd Business School at University of Oxford hosted the unveiling of the coffee table book, 26 Game Changers of the Year 2026, bringing together policymakers, business executives, academics and innovators to recognise 26 individuals for their contributions across different sectors.

The publication, led by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, Chief Executive Officer of the London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD), highlights individuals whose work spans healthcare, technology, sports, education and public service.

Among those who attended the event were civic leaders including Cllr Louise Upton, Mayor of Oxford; Cllr Dr. Sunny Lambe, Mayor of Southwark; Cllr Anjana Patel, Mayor of Harrow; and Cllr Tushar Kumar, Deputy Mayor of Elstree & Borehamwood.

The 26 honourees featured in the publication are Prince Ebrahim Sanyang, Cllr Tushar Kumar, Baron Alec Stern, Dr. William Selvamurthy, Dr. T. Rama Rao, Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, Himani Shivpuri, Ajinkya Rahane, Dr. Amish Purohit, Matthew Siu Ting Yip, Greg D. Kunst, Dr. Kenneth Lee, Dr. Kamran Khan, Dr. Diana Richardson, Memori Yamato, Dr. Lorie Nicholas, Dr. Salwa Arfaoui, Dr. Dawn Menge, Iman Battikha, Dr. Flomny Menon, Shiva Helali, Dr. Priyanka Sunder, Devaki Thavarajah, Priscilla McElveen and Ellen Mannaert.

According to the organisers, the publication celebrates individuals whose achievements have made significant impacts in their professions and communities through innovation, leadership and service.

Organisers also announced plans for an author-signing event involving the 26 honourees as part of an attempt to set a Guinness World Record.

The publication is also scheduled for a global launch at Harvard University in August 2026.

In addition, organisers unveiled another upcoming coffee table book, Queens Rising: The Icons of 2026, which will spotlight women making notable contributions across various industries.

The Oxford event marked the official launch of 26 Game Changers of the Year 2026, with organisers saying the initiative is intended to recognise leadership, innovation and excellence across the world.
