More positive reactions have continued to trail the emergence of Senator Olamilekan Adeola as consensus gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, with the Yayi Student Vanguard describing it as a welcome development.
In a Tuesday statement, Convener, Yayi Student Vanguard, Comrade James Olanose applauded the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, for his strategic leadership and commitment to party unity following the emergence of Adeola.
The student movement further described the development as a bold and commendable step that reflects political maturity and a deep understanding of the need for cohesion within the party ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The group noted that the consensus arrangement demonstrates the governor’s dedication to sustaining the legacy of progress in Ogun State, while also positioning the party for electoral success through a united front.
