Human rights activist and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Aisha Yesufu, has advised the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, not to deputise any presidential candidate in the 2027 election.
In a video that is presently circulating on social media, Aisha, a well-known sociopolitical activist, threatened to campaign against any presidential ticket that includes Obi as vice president.

According to her, the former Anambra State governor is the greatest candidate and should be handed the presidential ticket.
She said, “I’m giving you people my word. If Peter Obi emerges as a running mate to anyone, I will work against that ticket.
“In my little capacity, I will work against them even if I don’t support any other candidates. Why are we always asking the best to be the second?”
