The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State for the 2027 election, Ahmed Wadada Aliyu, has called for unity among party members and stakeholders following his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.

In a statement issued yesterday after the APC governorship primary election, Wadada expressed gratitude to God, party members and supporters across the state for the confidence reposed in him during the exercise.

He described his emergence as a collective mandate and pledged to work toward the progress and development of the state. “I sincerely thank the members of our great party, the APC, for the confidence reposed in me through their support and votes in the Governorship Primary Election.

“I am equally grateful to our party leaders, stakeholders, supporters, and the good people of Nasarawa State whose prayers, encouragement, and unwavering belief in our shared vision made this victory possible,” he stated.

The APC candidate also commended the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, for what he described as his commitment to the unity and stability of the party as well as the peaceful conduct of the primary election.

“I wish to specially acknowledge and appreciate His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, for his leadership of our great party and his commitment to a peaceful, transparent, and successful primary process,” Wadada added.

He dedicated his victory to all members of the APC and the people of the state, irrespective of political affiliation.
