From Abdulrazaq Mungadi, Gombe
The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) Door-to-Door Campaign Organisation has inaugurated its Gombe State chapter and donated 26 vehicles to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for the president’s re-election in 2027.
The vehicles are expected to support campaign activities across the 11 local government areas of the state as the organisation seeks to expand support for Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates ahead of the general elections.
Speaking at the inauguration, the organisation’s convener and founder, Chief Tempolo, represented by Mr Kestin Pondi, said the movement was established to mobilise support for Tinubu’s second-term ambition and sustain the programmes of his administration.
He described Tinubu as a candidate with no match, arguing that his antecedents and record in public service distinguished him from other contenders.
“Re-electing Tinubu means continuity of good governance and the provision of dividends of democracy,” he said, urging Nigerians, particularly residents of Gombe State, to support the president and other APC candidates.
The organisation said its mobilisation drive would focus on sensitising voters on the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration, while encouraging support for the ruling party at all levels.
In his remarks, Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, commended the organisation for its efforts to promote the administration’s policies, particularly the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Yahaya expressed confidence in the APC’s political standing in Gombe State and assured the organisation of the state government’s commitment to the party at all levels.
The governor’s remarks underscored the state chapter’s role in strengthening the APC’s grassroots structure as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The donation of the 26 campaign vehicles was the major highlight of the inauguration, providing logistical support for the organisation’s planned mobilisation across the state’s 11 local government areas.
