An Ogun State House of Assembly aspirant, Prince Temitope Kasali, has described support for Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as “an investment in the new Ogun we all deserve” ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Kasali said the 2027 election should be guided by competence, integrity, vision, and a proven commitment to public service, rather than emotions or empty promises.

“It is from this conviction that I stand in support of Distinguished Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) as the next Governor of Ogun State,” he stated.

“To me, this is not merely a political endorsement but a belief that the future of our state should be entrusted to capable leadership with a clear vision for development.”

Kasali, also known as Kastopee, cited Adeola’s record in the legislature and in community development as reasons for his support.

“Over the years, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) has built a reputation as a dedicated public servant with a record of legislative experience, accessibility, and commitment to the welfare of the people,” he said.

“His contributions to education, youth empowerment, infrastructure, healthcare, and community development have strengthened the confidence many people have in his leadership.”

He added that Ogun State needs leadership that “combines experience with innovation, humility with courage, and vision with the ability to deliver measurable results.”

Kasali also called for continuity in governance, noting that development should not stop with a change of administration.

“This is why I believe Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) has the capacity to consolidate the progress already recorded in Ogun State and lead our state into a new era of growth and prosperity,” he said.

The Ogun APC chieftain further said Governor Dapo Abiodun still has valuable experience to offer, and expressed support for Abiodun to represent Ogun East Senatorial District in the Senate.

“I also believe that His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, still has valuable experience to offer. In my opinion, his representation of Ogun East Senatorial District in the Senate would ensure continuity in service and strengthen Ogun State’s voice at the national level,” Kasali stated.

He urged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter’s Card and participate peacefully in the 2027 elections, saying votes should reflect aspirations for a stronger economy, better education, quality healthcare, improved infrastructure, and youth empowerment.

“The New Ogun begins with the right choice,” Kasali stressed.
