The former representative of Anambra Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Uche Ekwunife, has assured President Bola Tinubu of victory in the Southeast region come 2027, arguing that the President deserves a second term.
She also extended the assurance to other candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly those seeking various elective positions in Anambra State, telling them that the leaders of the party are working round the clock to ensure their victory in next year’s poll.
Ekwunife spoke shortly after the stakeholders meeting of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), held last weekend, in Awka, the state capital.
“We’re here to re-emphasise and state, categorically, that we’re voting APC top to bottom”, Ekwunife stated.

“We’re here to re-emphasise the need for APC to win elections in all positions: Presidency, senatorial, House of Reps, and others. This is the time for us to do that. Because we have seen what Mr. President has done for Ndigbo; what he has done for Anambra, Imo, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, and for other states.
“So, Renewed Hope Ambassadors want to rekindle the spirit of Nigerians. We’re here to support Mr. President’s work.”
Ekwunife gave the President a passmark, saying that he has performed well so far. She said that Tinubu has fixed Nigeria’s economy, and would do more if given the opportunity to continue in office come next year.
“You have seen a renewed road, renewed infrastructure, renewed hope, a renewed environment, and a government that is working for the people”, Ekwunife said.
“That’s what we are talking about. Democracy is about the people. Democracy is about giving the people hope. It’s about seeing the infrastructure. It’s about seeing it and testing it, and touching it. And we can see, touch, and feel what President Asiwaju is doing for Nigerians.”
