A pro-Tinubu political group, City Boy Movement (CBM), is expanding its horizon in Abia State with the appointment of Mr. Gberemakor Okechukwu as the state coordinator.

The movement, which is solely formed with the aim of ensuring the re-election of President BolaTinubu in 2027, had, penultimate week, appointed the immediate past Speaker of Abia House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji as the state chairman.

The Abia State Director of the  Movement, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), announced Mr. Okechukwu’s appointment in a statement. He said Okechukwu, a seasoned public service professional with extensive experience in finance, administration, and governance, is expected to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and drive support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the state.

“As a seasoned public service professional with extensive experience in finance, administration, and governance, we have no doubt the state coordinator will strengthen grassroots mobilisation and drive support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda across the state.”

Igbokwe said the appointment formed part of ongoing efforts to reposition the City Boy Movement’s structure and expand its operational reach within Abia State.

The statement noted that the new state coordinator will be inaugurated into office at a later date.
