The Minister of Power, Chief Joseph Tegbe, has urged leaders, members, and support groups of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State to unite and secure victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all party candidates in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking during a series of stakeholder engagements in Ibadan, Tegbe emphasized that President Tinubu’s audacious power sector reforms are already yielding tangible improvements and positively transforming lives across the country.
The minister’s tour began with a meeting with the APC Reconciliation Committee, chaired by Senator Olufemi Lanlehin.
Commending the committee for its efforts to heal internal grievances following the party’s primaries, Tegbe pledged to support its work by personally reaching out to aggrieved aspirants.
In response, Senator Lanlehin expressed gratitude to the Minister and reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to continuous engagement until complete unity is restored within the party.
Tegbe then visited the APC State Secretariat at Oke-Ado, where he was received by the State Chairman, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, alongside members of the State Executive Committee.

Party leaders praised Tegbe as a key pillar of support for the APC and its members in Oyo State. Addressing the executive body, the Minister urged party leaders to ensure every political faction is carried along, promising his unwavering support for the party’s growth.
Concluding his engagements at the Oyo State Secretariat of the Tinubu Support Group in Yemetu, Tegbe addressed a crowd of enthusiastic party faithful.
He charged the support groups to take the President’s message to the grassroots and mobilize voters for the upcoming elections.
Highlighting key achievements, Tegbe noted that Nigeria’s electricity generation and transmission have consistently exceeded 5,300 megawatts in recent weeks under President Tinubu’s administration.
He stated that increased grid capacity directly translates to a more reliable power supply for homes, markets, workshops, and factories, reinforcing the administration’s mandate for industrial growth and job creation.
Leaders of the various support groups commended the Minister for his continuous support of party members and pledged to deliver a decisive victory for the APC at the polls.
