The Ebonyi State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday, declared that opposition parties will suffer colossal defeat in the state in next year’s general election.
The party boasted that it would secure an overwhelming victory in all positions of contest in 2027.
State Chairman of the party, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, stated this while receiving APC support groups at the party Secretariat in Abakaliki, the state capital. He dismissed the opposition contestants as time-wasters who are only waiting for their colossal defeat.

Emegha noted that the support the party had been receiving from Ebonyi electorate was a reliable indicator that the victory of its governorship candidate, Governor Francis Nwifuru, has been secured waiting to be delivered in 2027.
He appealed to members of the support groups to go to their various localities and mobilise their people to register in the ongoing continuous voters registration.
He assured the group of the steady support and collaboration of the State Working Committee of the party throughout the electioneering and beyond.
