A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has said the states in the South East geopolitical zone would be playing “real politics” by voting massively for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.

Igbokwe, a former spokesman of APC in Lagos, stated this in a Facebook post on Monday.

Daily Sun can report that three of the five states in the South East are APC-controlled, namely Imo, Enugu and Ebonyi.

The remaining two, Abia and Anambra, are controlled by the Labour Party (LP) and All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) respectively.

Igbokwe expressed hope that the LP and APGA-controlled states would become APC states.

He said, “I pray that all the South East States will play the real politics now. I pray that South East States should go APC. Collapse Anambra APGA, Abia LABOUR to APC and thank me later.”
