2027 election: APM inaugurates campaign committee, Fayemi predicts victory for self

The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) candidate for the Ojo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Oba Oluwaseun Fayemi Jnr., has promised massive development and inclusive governance if elected in the 2027 National Assembly election.

Speaking to journalists during the inauguration of principal members and the campaign team of the APM in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, Fayemi promised to be a responsive and people-focused representative if elected.

He pledged to deliver the dividends of democracy and prioritise the welfare of residents of the constituency.

According to him, “My ambition is rooted in a deep commitment to serve the people of Ojo Federal Constituency sincerely and effectively.”

He added, “I will put the people first and build a government that truly works for everyone, drive massive development and bring governance closer to the people at the grassroots.”

Fayemi outlined his key areas of focus to include infrastructure development, quality education, accessible healthcare, youth empowerment, economic development and improved security.

He also assured voters of inclusive governance, expressing confidence that the electorate would support his candidacy and deliver victory for him in the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Acknowledging the competitiveness of the race, he said, “There are several parties contesting, but I believe the people of Ojo Federal Constituency know who truly deserves their trust.”

He urged residents not to be intimidated but to come out en masse and support his candidacy, describing himself as a grassroots leader.

He expressed confidence in his chances of winning the election, saying he believed the people of Ojo Federal Constituency would support his candidacy.

He further urged stakeholders to ensure that residents were given a level playing field to exercise their civic rights by casting their votes without hindrance.

Fayemi advised residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate actively in the 2027 elections, while supporting APM candidates at various levels.

Also speaking at the occasion, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman in Ojo Local Government Council, Mr Adeosun Adisa, said the PDP and APM had formed an alliance aimed at preventing the emergence of a one-party state.

Adisa urged residents of Ojo Local Government Area to unite and support Fayemi and other APM candidates in Lagos State and across the country.
