Paschal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest or Celebrity Bar Man, has declared his ambition to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in 2027.
Chief Priest, who has been an ardent supporter of President Bola Tinubu said he would be contesting for Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East Federal Constituency of Imo State in the House of Representatives.
A member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and ally of the incumbent Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, the nightlife entrepreneur said his ambition to represent his constituency stems from the desire to contribute to the well-being of the people of Orsu, Orlu, and Oru East.
In a viral video seen on X, Chief Priest said, “I am not coming to steal money. I am planning to add mine to the Constituency account, and build more projects for my people.”
The Cubana Chief Priest had earlier stated that, to achieve the desired development in Nigeria, the people of the Southeast region must work towards fighting from the inside.

Reaffirming his support for Tinubu, the entrepreneur said the president has higher chances of being re-elected as president in 2027.
He also called on the president to ensure the unconditional release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.
“I will not lie to you, Papa; as a friend of your government, I have no reason to whitewash you. MNK is the supreme leader of the South East.
“We don fight, protest, scream, yell, even kill ourselves, and nothing changed. We don even sit-at-home for years; nothing changed. Like this, the only option is for us to serve and get settled.
