Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has boasted that members of the opposition are sure to face defeat in the 2027 elections.
During his appearance on Arise TV’s Prime Time, Bwala referred to ADC chieftains Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso and Rotimi Amaechi as corpses, saying they stand no chance of ousting the president.
According to Bwala, Tinubu may not even need to look at the scoreboard on election day because victory is sure because the president defeated them before.
“The corpses in their camp have all been defeated by President Bola Tinubu.
“President Bola Tinubu became a president today. He won that election on merit. Take the journey from one of the corpses, Rotimi Amaechi.
“In the primaries, when the odds were against President Bola Tinubu, and Rotimi Amaechi was favoured by a lot of people around President Buhari. President Tinubu defeated him with a landslide merging.

“Coming to the general election, the odds were also not in favour of President Bola Tinubu. I campaigned for Atiku so I can… I have a degree of idea that I can put on the table in relation to everything.
“President Bola Tinubu defeated my former boss, Atiku; he defeated Peter Obi, he defeated Kwankwaso.
“So, you see. If you count the four corpses, he has actually defeated them when the odds were against him. How much more now?
“So, I have a belief that remember, when Atiku gave a run for the money, Atiku had a good number of governors who were leaders of their states with structures. And there was momentum at the time. In favour of the opposition because there was a belief that APC had outlived its usefulness.
“Now, having defeated them in that, most, if not all of the governors and the states, and the structures that he had then are now with President Bola Tinubu.
“What makes you think on the day of election, President Bola Tinubu will even care to look at the scoreboard?” Bwala asked.
