An aide to Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu, the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial district, Nnenna Emenike, has said the zone is not for inexperienced politicians who are on a trial and error mission.
In a statement, Emenike said the district is rather for politicians like Senator Kalu, who have a wealth of experience embedded in service delivery.
“Senator Kalu has a lot of wealth of experience that has resulted in several projects implementation, wealth of experience with legislative oversight functions, global exploration, human capital investment, and economic empowerment.
“Senator Kalu has also embarked on rural communities development, health enhancement for women and children, grants for rural business women, rural electrification, general infrastructural development, including road construction and industrial plantation development”.

In the education sector, Emenike said the senator has been involved in educational support programmes, such as scholarships, construction of new schools, renovations of old schools, distribution of desks and educational materials.
The statement added that these and many more would be sustained with Senator Kalu as the senator representing Abia North Senatorial in the 11th Assembly.
“To sustain the achievements and for more service delivery, the 11th Senate requires a calculated structural alignment with the centre, which Sen Kalu is bringing to bear.
“The continuity of Senator Kalu at the upper legislative chamber is not only for the betterment of Abia North Senatorial district, and South East, but for Nigeria at large”, the statement emphasised.
