2026 WCQ playoffs: Super Eagles hold first training in Rabat ahead of Gabon clash

The Super Eagles began training for the 2026 FIFA World Cup playoffs in Rabat, Morocco, on Monday.

Sixteen players participated in the training session, which was overseen by head coach Eric Chelle

The light session was designed to let team members recover from their travels and get back into the groove of their regular activities.

Three additional players are expected to resume the camp later tonight.

Preparations will pick up on Tuesday, when all of the invited players are anticipated to be in camp.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will face the Panthers of Gabon in the first semi-final on Thursday.
