2026 WCQ playoffs: Super Eagles’ camp in high spirits with 18 players ahead of Gabon clash

Eighteen players are presently at the Super Eagles’ camp in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff against Gabon on Thursday evening.

The Super Eagles opened camp on Sunday in Morocco for the World Cup playoffs.

Eric Chelle’s team held their first training session on Monday, as the players were available.

The likes of Captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Benjamin Fredrick took part in the training session.

Other players already in camp are Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, Tolu Arokodare, Alex Iwobi, Chidozie Awaziem, Ejuke Chidera, Olakunle Olusegun, Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon.

The remaining three players are expected in camp before the Thursday match with Gabon.
